Welcome to the Anime & Manga StackExchange. Could you provide more information about where you found these pictures? – Peter Raeves Jun 30 '14 at 22:20
@seijitsu We generally refrain from tagging ID requests with the thing they're from (cf., – senshin Aug 19 '15 at 1:48
@senshin, Okay. In that case, perhaps that policy should be revised for such unusual cases as this, in which the answer to the question is useful information for not only the OP (which is the situation of most ID requests) but also for others, as the image in question is an arguably confusing one: it is from a non-canonical crossover film produced by the official animation company. This is an unusually-useful ID request question that others in the future might have, including fans who are generally well-versed in Pretty Cure. – seijitsu Aug 19 '15 at 1:54

The first one is from DokiDoki! Precure.
DokiDoki! Precure poster

From MAL:

Aida Mana is a girl who is always eager to do things for the sake of others.

One day, when she was visiting the Clover Tower during her school's orientation program, an enemy who called themselves "Selfish" appeared suddenly, and tried to manipulate her inner heart! To fight this enemy, she borrowed power from a magical fairy Sharuru to transform into Pretty Cure!

To protect the peace of the world, other legendary Pretty Cure soon joined her in battle! A mysterious baby also appears, making each day a "Heartthrob" experience! The 4 Cures, always holding "love" in their hearts, are battling for the world's fate!

The second one is from Smile Precure!.

Smile Precure! poster

From MAL:

Once upon a time, there was a kingdom of fairy tales called "Märchenland," where many fairy tale characters live together in joy. Suddenly, the evil emperor Pierrot made an invasion on Märchenland, sealing its Queen in the process. To revive the Queen, the symbol of happiness called Cure Decor, "the Queen's scattered power of light of happiness," is required. To collect the Cure Decor, a fairy named Candy searches for the Pretty Cures on Earth. There, Candy meets a girl, who decides to collect the Cure Decor. Now, will the world earn a "happy ending"?

At least they're the same franchise... – Clockwork-Muse Jul 1 '14 at 12:34
This answer is incorrect. Neither of the girls in the first image ever appear in DokiDoki! Precure. The only Cure characters in DokiDoki! Precure are the four pictured in this image you provide (none of them have pink hair) plus the redhead Cure Ace. The girls in the OP's image are from Smile Pretty Cure! and Suite Pretty Cure♪ (see my answer for details) – seijitsu Aug 19 '15 at 1:29

In the first image, the girl on the right is Cure Happy from Smile Pretty Cure! and the girl on the left is Cure Melody from Suite Pretty Cure♪. The image is from one of the crossover Pretty Cure All Stars theatrical films.

Almost every Pretty Cure series is a stand-alone canon, which does not exist in the same world as the other series (there are a couple exceptions, i.e. Yes! Pretty Cure 5 Go! Go! is a sequel to Yes! Pretty Cure 5 using the same cast). However, the Pretty Cure All Stars subset of the theatrical films combine characters from a variety of Pretty Cure series into a crossover story.

You can see from the two girls' character designs that they are from different series that had different character designers (Toshie Kawamura and Takahashi Akira, respectively. The eyes and hair stand designs markedly differ). In their respective series proper, they never met each other, as they live in different canons. Only in the crossover movies have they ever met and interacted. The first of the All Star films in which both Smile Pretty Cure! and Suite Pretty Cure♪ characters appear together is Pretty Cure All Stars New Stage : Mirai No Tomodachi!

The characters in the second image are the civilian form of the supporting girls on Cure Happy's team: Hino Akane, Kise Yayoi, Midorikawa Nao, and Aoki Reika, so they are from the Smile Pretty Cure! canon.

Note the series titles in these images:

Smile Pretty Cure! = スマイルプリキュア!

Suite Pretty Cure♪ = スイートプリキュア♪

+1: This is somewhat more convincing. (That this was from Pretty Cure seemed obvious enough, but the franchise is massive enough that I'm not familiar with any of the individual series except for the very first one.) – Maroon Aug 19 '15 at 1:37
@Maroon, by "somewhat more" what do you feel is lacking in this answer to make it convincing? What should I have included beyond an image of each of the pink-haired girls (who are in the OP's image) that contain their respective series titles and spelled them out in katakana above each, as well as linked to the All Stars films? I didn't feel that adding in a poster image from one of the All Stars that shows both girls together would helpfully clarify further... – seijitsu Aug 19 '15 at 1:45
Sorry, I have a bad habit of overusing words like "somewhat" or the such (here if only because I don't know the franchise well and so wouldn't be to verify). The first poster convinced me that your answer was correct (since it more or less matched up with all the girls). On a second glance the girl on the right in the first image wouldn't have been covered that way, but the second poster includes her (albeit in a slightly different art style), so it's all good and well, as far as I'm concerned. – Maroon Aug 19 '15 at 1:52
