Dec 5, 2016 at 23:27 comment added WMios Sounds good to me
Dec 5, 2016 at 20:42 comment added trafalgar law Yes, I completely agree with this statement. And I didn't know people can delete comments as the option does not appear. Must be a fame priviledge. I figured it could be a glitch so I quoted a sentence I considered relevant just in case. Don't delete comments. Let's leave it here, I might get more comments from other people.
Dec 5, 2016 at 18:58 comment added WMios Now I'm confused. Did you not want me to delete my "nasty comment"? And I said "So while it is not canonical (just like all of the other 'couples') Mashima does hint that it's more than just a friendship." - which just means that no they're not a couple but that he's toying with the people who follow his twitter. It's just fan-fiction from the author.
Dec 5, 2016 at 18:48 comment added trafalgar law Ok WMios. "The last sentence of my post says they're not and wanted to clarify for those who didn't read my post that it's only Mashima joking around" (I quote you in case the comment disappears like the other one).

Dec 5, 2016 at 16:25 comment added WMios Yikes, struck a nerve did I? I added the no mainly given that the last sentence of my post says they're not and wanted to clarify for those who didn't read my whole post that it's only Mashima joking around.
Dec 5, 2016 at 14:42 comment added trafalgar law 7 THIS ONE IS EXTRA RELEVANT. What you did bears out you know your own mistake and corrected it. 10 hours ago three things have happened at the same time. You gave me a downvote, you wrote that nasty comment and you admitted you were wrong by modifying your answer and adding: "Short answer: No. However..." You want to know why I deliberately used that image? It was so that you knew they're clearly not a couple because of that. Thankfully you got the message as your edit says. The downvote (and I'm unable to downvote anyone as I need 125 reputation) and the nasty comment are not welcome.
Dec 5, 2016 at 14:24 comment added trafalgar law 6 The reason I decided to use that exact image (which by the way can be found in Google images) is to make you realise your mistake as your answer from just four hours before said it was hinted they're actually a couple because of that. I cannot comment on your answer like you because I need 50 reputation and I won't be here long enough to reach that point. Choosing that particular image instead of another one is the only way I had to give a subtle reference to your answer, pointing out it's not correct to assume they're a couple because of that, while at the same time giving my own answer.
Dec 5, 2016 at 14:14 comment added trafalgar law 3 There are not many examples, there are two. The one I mentioned and another one where Sherria swings Wendy and Zeref swings Mavis. Anything beyond that doesn't fall under the "couple" twitters you mention in your post. 4. It is your answer that just adds non-canon reasons to defend they're a couple. At least I mention the actual story in the manga. My answer does add new information and tries to avoid people believing certain misconceptions. 5 In the original material they always say stuff like "we're friends" and even "we'll ALWAYS be friends".
Dec 5, 2016 at 14:03 comment added trafalgar law Wow, just wow... Some corrections: 1 I am a big fan of Fairy Tail and happen to be up to date with the manga. I also love Mashima's artwork. Of course I follow his Twitter and have even bought a few Fairy Tail artbooks drawn by him. You can ask me anything, I might actually be more knowledgeable than you. 2 I didn't cite your answer, believe it or not it is one of the first things that appear on Google. I was referencing TV Tropes, not your answer.
