This question already has an answer here:

It is acceptable that he does not have memories of the founding titan but technically each titan shifter inherits the memories of the previous generations that inherited the same titan. Why does Eren not have Grisha's and Eren Kruger's memories? One answer on reddit seemed to be explaining this with the help of the dominating effects of the coordinate. As Armin is soon to get his titan powers in the anime, will he atleast get the memories and finally solve the mysteries for the people inside the wall?

As you may have noticed I have already catched on to a few things ahead but still would appreciate if there are no major spoilers in the answers to the anime.

  • Regarding Armin, no, he appears to have not in the manga. Regarding the mysteries for the people inside the walls, it will be revealed, possibly within season 3 or afterwards. – W. Are Jun 2 at 10:34
  • I can't really say my theory is true but i believe that memories can only be inherted by pure blood like royal family. Eren was neither royal blood nor pure blooded as his mother was a human and father was titan – ValAsta Jun 2 at 15:55
  • Remember that Eren's father (Grisha Yeager) wiped his memories? so he probably wiped the memories of the previous attack titans as well. – Freeborn Iwarri Jun 2 at 18:33
  • the nine titans do inherit the memories of their previous titan shifters in many cases – Ishan Srivastava Jun 4 at 6:55
  • I don't believe grisha ever had the power to wipe out memories – Ishan Srivastava Jun 4 at 6:55
