InuYasha is a manga series by Rumiko Takahashi about Kagome Higurashi, who is transported to the Sengoku period and meets the half-demon InuYasha there. The story is about the adventures of Kagome and InuYasha as they quest to recover fragments of a magical jewel.

The manga was adapted into two anime series: the first, 167-episode one, which aired from 2000 to 2004, and the second one, InuYasha: The Final Act, which aired in 2009 and 2010. Other media includes four feature films, an OVA, a light novel, and numerous video games.
