At the end of the movie, we know that

Age's (Eiji) world was the inverted world and Patema's world was the normal one. But when Age and Patema fell to the "sky" in Age's world, there was a ground on the other side of the "sky" with some kind of building there, and when it became "morning", there was some light source like a sun and the ground in the "sky" was burn. Also, through out the movies, there was morning and night in Age's world. How could that happen?

What exactly was the light source? Was that the planet's core? (It wasn't look like on Earth) Or was that some kind of device?
